Mobile Application v5.2 Release Notes
Mobile Application v5.2 introduces balance alerts and the removal of the PIN fallback when biometrics fails. Verification improvements will be implemented in v5.3.
Balance Alert (Spend Notifications)
We have added the ability for users to configure a balance alert that will alert them when their balance falls below a specified percentage. Users can set this within the app and Visa Commercial Pay Control v1.3, if supported by the issuer.
Select an active card.
Scroll down the screen to the balance alert section.
Use the slider to set the balance alert percentage. Users will receive an alert when the percentage set, or less, is remaining.
Note
Users will only receive the notification once per balance alert set.
Know Your Customer (KYC) Verification Improvements
We are improving our KYC feature within the app so that new and existing issuers that support KYC will have more flexibility when requesting identity verification. This will be implemented in v5.3.
Removal of PIN Fallback
To improve app security, we have removed the device PIN fallback when biometrics fails or is not enabled. Users will need to have biometrics enabled or enter their email address, password and OTP to log in.
Notable Bug Fixes
We have fixed some minor bugs to improve the overall user experience.
